The Chinese aviation components industry and energy storage industry are accelerating deep integration, driving the transformation of aviation power systems towards electrification and greening. In the field of electric vertical takeoff and landing vehicles (eVTOL), companies such as CATL and EVE Energy have entered the aviation power battery supply chain, developing high safety lithium battery systems with energy density ≥ 400Wh/kg to support the core 'three batteries' module of the aircraft. In terms of ground applications, Chang'an Airlines, Capital Airlines, and others have deployed energy storage power vehicles to replace traditional APUs, saving over 2000 tons of fuel annually and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by nearly 10000 tons, achieving zero carbon operation at airports. Aerospace grade thermal control, redundant design, and health monitoring technologies are being migrated to onboard energy storage systems to enhance reliability in extreme environments. The national '14th Five Year Plan' new energy storage scheme clearly supports breakthroughs in electrochemical and flywheel energy storage technology. The Civil Aviation Administration of China is promoting the improvement of the CCAR-92 airworthiness standard system, paving the way for the certification of onboard energy storage systems. AVIC, COMAC and other battery companies are jointly building an integrated research and development system of 'aviation grade energy storage electronic control thermal management' to promote the transition from auxiliary power supply to main power supply substitution.
