The integration of China's dialysis equipment industry with 5G has achieved a paradigm shift from 'in-hospital treatment' to 'home intelligent management', building a closed-loop system of 'device perception 5G transmission cloud analysis remote intervention'. The Wuhan University People's Hospital's 'Wuda Cloud Medicine' project has taken the lead in implementing 5G+home peritoneal dialysis. After patients undergo automatic dialysis at night, data is uploaded in real-time through a mobile app. The system automatically identifies critical values such as ultrafiltration abnormalities and blood pressure fluctuations and triggers doctor warnings, achieving early intervention for complications and reducing emergency rates by over 40%. Fujian's 'Smart Peritoneal Dialysis Center' synchronously connects medical insurance payment, becoming the first pilot of home dialysis medical insurance reimbursement in China, promoting the improvement of treatment accessibility. The 'Kezhitong' system of Kedni Medical integrates multimodal physical sign data and AI algorithms to achieve dynamic evaluation of dialysis adequacy and personalized program recommendation, with an accuracy of 92%. Huawei, Mindray Medical and other enterprises support low latency communication and remote operation and maintenance of equipment through 5G module, edge computing platform and cloud medical ecology. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the National Health Commission will announce 534 5G+medical and health acceptance projects by 2025, including multiple dialysis projects selected. The latest acceptance list will be released in January 2026, marking the entry of this model into the stage of large-scale promotion. Dialysis equipment is transforming from 'therapeutic instruments' to 'chronic disease management terminals', reshaping the diagnosis and treatment pattern of end-stage renal disease.
