Under the empowerment of 5G, China's electrolytic zinc industry is accelerating its transformation towards intelligence, greenness, and unmanned technology, forming a new production paradigm centered on real-time perception, intelligent decision-making, and autonomous execution. Yunnan Yuntong Zinc Industry relies on the 5G private network to build a 'nerve endings' intelligent monitoring system, which collects the voltage, temperature, and copper bar status of the electrolytic cell in milliseconds, achieving intelligent fault diagnosis and reducing manual inspection time by 6000 hours per year; Chihong Zinc Germanium has deployed an infrared online monitoring and robotic arm automatic palletizing system at the Huize Smelter, creating an 'unmanned' die-casting zinc alloy production line with a daily output of 70 tons and significantly reducing labor costs. Zhongjin Lingnan Shaoguan Factory integrates 5G+AI to achieve automation of high-purity recovery of rare metals and promote the resource utilization of by-products. Jiangxi Copper Guixi Smelter has built the industry's first 5G fully connected electrolysis workshop, achieving cloud based production data for all elements through the '1+1+1+N' digital intelligence architecture, achieving 'one screen production, one network management for the entire plant', and reducing comprehensive energy consumption and carbon emissions. The industry is moving from single point automation to system level digital twins, promoting the evolution of zinc smelting towards an efficient, low-carbon, and replicable 'lighthouse factory' model.
