The core of the integration of China's electronic tag industry and energy storage industry lies in solving the trustworthy traceability issues of energy storage asset management and power trading through digital identification technology. RFID technology enables precise management of energy storage devices such as power batteries throughout their entire lifecycle from production to recycling, improving quality traceability and production efficiency. The electronic tags empowered by blockchain provide the technological foundation for the shared energy storage model. State Grid Qinghai Power has pioneered the 'every kilowatt hour of clean electricity has its own electronic tag' model, which utilizes the tamper proof characteristics of blockchain to accurately distinguish the 'source storage' end power, electricity quantity, and electricity price, achieving traceability and rapid matching of green electricity transactions. This solves the contradiction of multilateral trading and the complex problem of clearing and settlement under the traditional mode, and activates the commercial operation of the energy storage market. At the policy level, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and six other departments are promoting the integration of the energy electronics industry, supporting the application of new technologies such as electronic tags in energy storage system security assessments, light storage integration, and other scenarios.
