The Chinese ferroalloy smelting equipment industry has accelerated its overseas expansion in the past decade, moving from exporting single equipment to a systematic output of 'technology+engineering+services'. Under the promotion of the 'the Belt and Road' initiative, Sinosteel International has built a 2.5 million ton gas based direct reduction iron project with the largest single line capacity in the world in Algeria in the EPC mode, integrating domestic closed submerged arc furnace, gas recovery and intelligent control system, and becoming a benchmark for low-carbon metallurgical technology; Northern Heavy Industries' equipment exports cover 65 countries, and its large electric furnaces with a capacity of over 60000KVA and permanent magnet drive systems are widely used in ferroalloy plants in the Middle East and Africa, achieving energy consumption reductions of over 25%. The industry has significant technological advantages, with domestic electric furnaces achieving an energy-saving efficiency of 30% (such as ECOARC technology), intelligent automation control systems recognized by international customers, and metallurgical patent applications accounting for over 60% of the world's total. The equipment exports are fully compatible with international standards such as CE and ISO 3834, meeting the strict safety and quality access requirements of the European Union and Southeast Asia. With steel companies such as Qingshan and Panhua building factories overseas, ferroalloy smelting equipment is accelerating its penetration as a core supporting facility, forming a three in one pattern of 'capacity going global - equipment following - standard implementation'. China is reshaping the global ferroalloy equipment supply chain.
