The Chinese industrial computer industry is accelerating its transition towards intelligence, flexibility, and edge collaboration under the empowerment of 5G. The high bandwidth, low latency, and wide connectivity characteristics of 5G are driving the evolution of industrial computers from traditional control terminals to 'end-to-end cloud' collaborative intelligent nodes. Domestic 5G industrial modules account for over 85% of the global market, with prices dropping to within 100 yuan, supporting wireless access for a massive number of terminals. Huawei, Advantech, and Advantech have achieved deep integration of 5G and TSN (Time Sensitive Network), building a deterministic network with synchronization accuracy at the μ s level, supporting key scenarios such as PLC remote control, AGV collaborative scheduling, and AI visual quality inspection. In the manufacturing field, there are over 1260 5G factories, and the Baiya Sanitary Products 5G Smart Factory has achieved a 12% increase in production efficiency and a 20% decrease in defect rate. The 5G system in Shanxi coal mines has reduced the accident rate by 60%. The product form has been comprehensively upgraded, and the market has seen the emergence of full stack products such as 5G industrial gateways (such as Cyber IoT), three proof tablets (such as Dehang Intelligent and LC Intelligent), and embedded hosts (such as Leyte RK3588), covering Android/Windows systems, supporting IP65/IP67 protection, multi interface expansion, and edge AI inference. The Action Plan for the Integration and Empowerment of Industrial Internet and Artificial Intelligence of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology clearly promotes the integration of 'control network computing'. The goal is to transform 50000 enterprises by 2028, and industrial computers are becoming the core computing power carrier of new industrialization.
