As the core material of lead-acid batteries, high-purity lead plates have been modified with graphene, reinforced with composite rare earth alloys, and upgraded with carbon negative electrodes. The energy density has been increased to 50Wh/kg, the cycle life has exceeded 3000 times, and the cost is only 40% -50% of lithium batteries. They have formed irreplaceable advantages in distributed photovoltaic energy storage, backup power for communication base stations, and microgrid peak shaving. Nandu Power has landed a 117MWh energy storage project in Australia, and Camel Group has partnered with Three Gorges Power to plan a 1GWh integrated solar energy storage project. Enterprises such as Chaowei and Tianneng are promoting a 'sales one collection one' closed-loop recycling system, with a recycling rate of over 99% for recycled lead. In 2025, the new national standard will relax the weight of electric bicycles to 63kg, explicitly prohibit the use of waste lithium batteries, and strongly support the continuous penetration of lead-acid batteries in low-speed traffic and high safety scenarios. The penetration rate of lead carbon batteries is expected to reach 35% by 2026, with a market size exceeding 40 billion yuan, achieving a structural transition from 'high pollution' to 'green circulation'.
