In the past decade, China's linear bearing industry, as an important branch of the precision basic components industry, has been accelerating its 'going global' efforts by relying on the overall advantages of China's manufacturing industry, moving from 'product export' to a new stage of 'brand going global'. The core driving force for the industry to go global lies in the resonance between technological upgrading and market demand. On the one hand, through continuous research and development, enterprises are constantly breaking through in precision, lifespan, and reliability. Their product lines have expanded from traditional standard parts to high-end linear guides and modules applied in high value-added fields such as semiconductor equipment, industrial robots, and high-end machine tools, meeting the global demand for upgrading intelligent manufacturing. On the other hand, with highly competitive cost-effectiveness and fast response to customized service capabilities, Chinese linear bearing enterprises have successfully entered the global supply chain. The export market presents a diversified pattern, with India, the United States, Germany, South Korea, Mexico and other countries becoming the top five export destinations. In 2024, the overall export volume of China's bearing industry increased by 8.7% year-on-year, with a single month growth rate of 25.3% in March, demonstrating strong overseas momentum. However, the road to going global also faces challenges, including intensifying international trade frictions, breakthroughs in high-end market technology standards and brand awareness, and the pressure to transition from pure trade to localized services and brand building. Overall, China's linear bearing industry is using technological innovation as a spear and supply chain resilience as a shield to accelerate the expansion of its market share in the global precision transmission market, becoming one of the new business cards for 'Made in China' to go global.
