The integration of China's load-bearing components industry with 5G has achieved a full chain intelligent transition from manufacturing to operation and maintenance. In the manufacturing process, 5G private networks replace traditional wired and WiFi, building millisecond level low latency and highly reliable industrial communication bases to support intelligent production of heavy structural components. Sany Heavy Industry achieves precise positioning and automatic reporting of factory equipment through 5G+UWB, reducing production cycles by 70%; Baosteel Group relies on the 5G-A deterministic network to achieve domestic independent control of core processes such as steel rolling control, realizing dynamic collaboration of multiple processes; Chint Wuhan Factory, Zhejiang Tianji Transformer Factory, and others have built 5G fully connected factories, with AI visual quality inspection, AGV intelligent scheduling, real-time energy consumption monitoring, and other scenarios fully implemented. The equipment networking rate has exceeded 80%, and the defect rate has decreased by more than 20%. In the operation and maintenance link, 5G enabled bearing structure health monitoring system, and strain, vibration and displacement sensors are deployed for key components such as bridges and high-rise buildings. The data is transmitted back to the edge computing platform in real time through 5G network to achieve millimeter level deformation early warning and remote diagnosis. For example, the success rate of data transmission of smart bridge monitoring system is up to 99.999%, and the operation and maintenance efficiency is improved by more than 60%. 5G is driving the shift of load-bearing components from passive maintenance to a new paradigm of active perception and intelligent decision-making.
