CNOOC Logging relies on a 5G dual domain private network to achieve 'simultaneous measurement, transmission, and processing' of logging data. Employees can use personal terminals to access the intranet without feeling, supporting remote operations and real-time interpretation of AI models, and improving logging interpretation efficiency by over 50%; The 'Xuanji' system of CNOOC has broken through the bottleneck of mud pulse transmission, achieving high-speed data return of 20 bits/second, which is equivalent to the leap of communication from 2G to 5G era, supporting precise control of deep well 3D trajectory. In complex scenarios, the 5G+MESH hybrid networking technology achieves 20 hop wireless extension underground, with a stable end bandwidth of up to 10Mbps, meeting the requirements of 4K video feedback and millisecond level control. It has been successfully applied in deep-sea oil fields and shale gas fields. Domestic equipment such as Tianchen geophysical YHCJ90/360 and Ruituo lateral resistivity imaging instrument fully integrate industrial grade 5G modules, support Linux system and IP54 protection, and meet the requirements of high temperature and high pressure underground environment. The national 'Technical Specification for 5G Communication System in Coal Mines' (formulated in 2025) is accelerating industry standardization and promoting the unification of key indicators such as explosion prevention and electromagnetic compatibility. The current bottleneck is focused on the lightweight of edge AI models (which need to be compressed to below 1B), high power consumption of underground terminals, and high cost of multi protocol adaptation. However, the '5G+AI' fusion is reconstructing the logging value chain, shifting from 'data handling' to 'intelligent interpretation'.
