The integration of China's nickel cobalt rolling equipment industry with 5G has achieved a transition from single point automation to full chain intelligent collaboration. Taking Jinchuan Group as a benchmark, eight provincial-level 5G fully connected factories have been built, including '5G+Intelligent Nickel Product Workshop' and '5G+Copper Smelting Fully Connected Smart Factory', covering the entire process of rolling, slicing, stacking, AGV transportation, intelligent weighing, and coding and bundling. 5G uRLLC (ultra reliable and low delay communication) technology realizes millisecond level closed-loop feedback for thickness control of calender, and AI vision system supported by edge computing node detects micro cracks and thickness deviation on the surface of nickel plate in real time, with defect identification accuracy of over 99%, replacing manual patrol inspection. The unmanned crane and intelligent AGV are coordinated and dispatched through a 5G private network, resulting in a 40% increase in logistics turnover efficiency, a 92% accuracy rate in equipment predictive maintenance, and a 65% reduction in unplanned downtime. The industry is relying on the 'end edge cloud' architecture to build a unified industrial Internet platform, promote the evolution of calendering equipment from 'mechanical execution' to 'independent perception decision execution', and provide a high consistency manufacturing foundation for high-end battery collectors, 5G heat sinks and other precision materials.
