In the past decade, the integration of China's noise meter industry with 5G technology has upgraded from data transmission to an intelligent monitoring system that integrates 'end edge cloud' collaboration. In the field of environmental noise monitoring, Shenzhen, Shanghai and other places are promoting the deep integration of monitoring equipment with 5G and GIS technology, and the pilot of noise mapping has entered the practical stage. Based on the characteristics of 5G high bandwidth and low latency, a project such as a park in Beijing has achieved real-time synchronous feedback of noise data and video, reducing the response time for over limit alarms to 3 minutes, supporting precise law enforcement and intelligent management. In industrial scenarios, integration is deeper, such as the '5G-A Quantum Sensing Industrial Equipment Noise Precision Monitoring System' applied in Fujian. Relying on the low latency (≤ 2ms) characteristics of 5G-A, combined with quantum sensors and AI algorithms, the noise monitoring accuracy is ≥ 99.3%, and the advance warning of faults can reach 25 days, reducing unplanned downtime of equipment by 65%. Innovative applications continue to emerge, and Hangzhou has launched a mobile noise monitoring and traceability system consisting of a 'robotic dog+sound level meter+acoustic imaging instrument', which achieves real-time data transmission and remote analysis through a built-in 5G module. Industry leaders such as Hangzhou Aihua have integrated 4G/5G transmission and intelligent sound source recognition algorithms into their equipment, building an integrated solution of 'monitoring analysis warning'. This integration is driving the transformation of noise monitoring from single point, static to networked, real-time, and intelligent, providing a 'true, accurate, fast, and new' decision-making basis for urban governance and industrial operation and maintenance.
