The integration of China's ocean temperature and salinity monitoring industry with 5G is driving the transformation of ocean monitoring towards intelligence and real-time. Relying on the high-speed, low latency, and large capacity characteristics of 5G, CTD devices achieve millisecond level data transmission, breaking through the limitations of traditional sampling. In polar scientific expeditions, 5G empowers CTD to transmit real-time deep-sea profile data, improving research efficiency; In the field of environmental monitoring, 5G+CTD is used to build a 'sky sea bottom' three-dimensional observation network to assist in the early warning of disasters such as red tide and oil spills. The domestically produced HM2000 profiling buoy integrates Beidou and 5G to achieve remote autonomous control, filling the gap in domestic equipment for the international Argo program. 5G edge computing enables real-time analysis of CTD data at nodes, driving dynamic management of fishery resources and accurate decision-making of marine ecological protection. The integration of the two not only strengthens China's three-dimensional perception system of the ocean, but also provides key support for the smart ocean strategy and opens up a new era of 'digital ocean'.
