Traditional racks have evolved from simple physical load-bearing units to 'intelligent computing nodes' that integrate intelligent PDUs, AI operations, digital twins, and liquid cooling adaptation, supporting the rigid demand for high-density, low latency, and green computing power in AI large-scale model training. Huawei, Inspur, New H3C and other manufacturers have broken through the bottleneck of the 'communication wall' and launched super node architecture and Chixiao intelligent acceleration card, achieving a leap in computing power density for single cabinets and reducing network latency to microsecond level. The national 'East West Computing' project is forcing the intensive layout of computing power, forcing the upgrade of rack level intelligent management. The 'Technical Requirements for Comprehensive Management and Control of Intelligent Operation and Maintenance of Data Centers' (YD/T 6231-2024), which will be implemented from April 2025, for the first time systematically standardizes resource intelligent planning, automated delivery, and infrastructure IT linkage monitoring, marking the industry's entry into a new stage of standardized and replicable intelligent operation and maintenance. Rack has become the intelligent terminal of computing power network, moving from 'passive bearing' to 'active decision-making', driving the overall energy efficiency and operation efficiency of data centers to achieve a qualitative leap.
