The integration of China's steel rolling processing equipment industry and energy storage industry is showing a coordinated development trend. In 2025, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and five other departments issued the 'Work Plan for Stable Growth of the Steel Industry (2025-2026)', which clearly promotes the green, low-carbon, and digital development of the steel industry. In terms of energy storage industry, by the end of 2025, the cumulative installed capacity of new energy storage has exceeded 50GW, becoming the core incremental market of steel rolling processing industry. On the integration path, steel rolling processing equipment provides key structural support for energy storage systems, including special steel products such as battery casings, energy storage containers, and support systems, meeting high-end requirements such as corrosion resistance, heat resistance, high strength, and high precision. At the technical level, the steel rolling processing industry is accelerating its digital and green transformation, achieving energy efficiency upgrades through energy management systems and forming a 'production storage application' closed loop with energy storage systems. The application scenarios are expanding from traditional buildings to the field of new energy, and the demand for emerging markets such as energy storage, photovoltaics, and wind power is rapidly increasing. The development model presents the characteristics of 'intelligent equipment+high-end products+integrated services', and local enterprises are breaking through the technological barriers of high-end equipment. In the future, the two industries will continue to deepen their integration and provide core materials and equipment support for the green transformation of China's energy structure.
