Over the past decade, China's cylinder industry has accelerated its expansion overseas, transitioning from low-cost contract manufacturing to a technology-driven globalization model. Benefiting from the 'Made in China 2025' initiative and the global wave of smart manufacturing, the industry's export scale has continued to expand. In 2024, the export value of internal combustion engine components reached US$13.436 billion, marking a year-on-year increase of 5.59%. Cylinders, as core actuators, are widely used in new energy vehicles, semiconductor equipment, and intelligent warehousing. Companies such as Shandong Baidi Pneumatic and Jianxing Special Vehicles have successfully entered the Korean, Indian, and Southeast Asian markets with their high-precision sealing and customization capabilities, achieving an average annual growth rate of over 30% in overseas sales. Xinlai Yingcai has established a localized supply chain through its bases in North America, Europe, and Malaysia, effectively avoiding trade barriers. Technologically, servo control, IoT integration, and lightweight materials (such as aluminum alloy cylinder bodies) are widely used. The repeatability positioning accuracy of domestically produced cylinders is approaching international standards, and energy-saving products have reduced energy consumption by 15%-20%, gaining recognition from customers in Europe and the United States. Currently, the industry is transitioning from 'product output' to 'standard + service' output, but the high-end market is still dominated by German and Japanese companies. There is an urgent need for breakthroughs in intelligent integration and carbon footprint certification capabilities.
