The environmental protection equipment industry in China is accelerating towards an integrated intelligent closed-loop of 'sensing-decision-action' under the empowerment of 5G, radiating new vitality. The high bandwidth, low latency, and wide connectivity characteristics of 5G have driven the transition of environmental monitoring equipment from 'point-based collection' to 'full-domain sensing'. Over 10,000 key pollutant discharging enterprises in Dongguan have accessed the 5G private network, enabling 7×24-hour real-time monitoring and intelligent early warning of pollution sources. Shenzhen has pioneered a 5G-A RedCap+AI waste classification full-process supervision system, covering 21,000 disposal points and 6,000 collection and transportation vehicles, achieving overflow early warning, precise scheduling, and AI supervision. In the field of wastewater treatment, Shaoxing Yingfeng Technology has deployed a 5G+Internet of Things system to achieve 'linguistic' supervision of the entire process data for 22,000 tons/day of printing and dyeing wastewater, with early warning for excessive hydrogen sulfide gas concentration. Yingfeng Environment, in collaboration with China Mobile, has launched the country's first 5G intelligent sanitation PPP project in Futian, where a cluster of unmanned cleaning robots achieves L4-level autonomous driving and collaborative operation, with an operational accuracy of ±5 centimeters. The national '5G Large-scale Application 'Sailing' Action Upgrade Plan' and 'Environmental Infrastructure Construction Level Improvement Action' clearly list 5G as the core foundation of smart environmental protection, promoting the large-scale replication of innovative models such as 'unmanned operation and maintenance' water quality monitoring stations and digital twin platforms. Environmental protection equipment is transitioning from being a 'mechanical terminal' to a 'data node', building a full-element intelligent governance system covering air, water, solid waste, and noise.
