Under the empowerment of 5G, China's railway transportation equipment industry is accelerating its transition towards full chain intelligence, forming a new industrial ecosystem of 'manufacturing operation communication'. CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive&Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. has built a national level excellent intelligent factory, which achieves flexible production in 14 core scenarios such as bogie welding and intelligent painting through 5G+digital twin technology, and improves equipment collaborative efficiency by more than 30%; China Railway Equipment has deployed a 5G video twin platform in shield tunneling manufacturing, combined with AI vision to achieve automatic welding without teaching, and the production yield has been increased to 98.7%. On the operation and maintenance end, Shanghai Metro has built the world's largest 5G-A public private network, covering 21 lines and 523 stations. Through 5G robot inspection, 82.2% of manual operations are replaced, and the accuracy of equipment failure warning exceeds 95%. In terms of vehicle ground communication, the 5G millimeter wave private network enables the second level dumping of massive data such as locomotive 6A videos (exceeding 24GB per day) during the station parking window period, completely replacing manual copying. China Communications' self-developed onboard ATP equipment is fully equipped with 5G communication modules, achieving millisecond level train ground interaction in the train control system, with a localization rate exceeding 90%. With the completion of more than 700 '5G+Industrial Internet' factories nationwide in 2025, railway equipment is transforming from 'manufacturing delivery' to 'intelligent service', driving the value reconstruction of the industry throughout its life cycle.
